Victoria Connelly studied English literature at Worcester University, got married in a medieval castle in the Yorkshire Dales and now lives in rural Suffolk with her artist husband, a young springer spaniel and a flock of ex-battery hens.She is the author of two bestselling series, Austen Addicts and The Book Lovers, as well as many other novels and novellas. Now that I have just finished reading this story, many feelings are rushing through me. I loved the way the story ended- gently and with dignity. Under the circumstances, I, being a Christian, did not like it when Lisa spoke of Jesus as though anyone who believed in Him was absolutely nuts! I was quite offended by that. Other than that, this beautifully written story was very thought-provoking.

Another great book from Victoria Connelly. I love the way she describes her country and teaches us something about its past. It will make you want to go to England and see it for yourself!

Even though you could sense the ending, this was a wonderful story of the love that people can have for others, not only family. A quick read.

Cancer has devastated many families. 3 close friends spent an entire summer together. Each woman brings certain strengths to the relationships.

I did enjoy this story.I found it an easy read more for femalesThe friendship was relateable. The characters were well portrayed.
